Google Local Business Center changes name to Google Places

Google Local Business Center changed its name in recently to Google Places. The reason is said to be a more intuitive name. Some immediate changes are not visible in the tool yet other than the name. Klikki is currently looking more closely at the factors that influence the ranking. Localized search is growing in importance particularly in combination with smartphones.
