Google Analytics Certified Partners - GACP Summit 2010
The annual Google Analytics Certified Partners summit 2010 was a great success. Thanks to Jesse and Timo on Google for all events and activities that went on smoothly and the Content was really varied and useful. Of course a lot of what was said about the future of Google Analytics is not to be revealed at this point but we will see great features and additions the forthcoming year!
Avinash, Google Analytics Evangelist opened up the conference with the somewhat disconcerting slide "Why you are not making any money". This turned out to be a great lecture on what is needed to get web analytics up on the agenda and bringing it up to the right level in a company. "Get analytics to the board and the CEO" was a core message.
Other interesting Lectures were held by Penry Price, Vice President, Global Agency and Industry Development and by Joe Stanhope from Forester Research. Key themes were "How to speak to individuals rather than audiences and the challenges with distributed content and activities beyond the web domain.
It was a pleasure to attend to this conference and to see how much trust Google puts in to the Partner Network. They really opened up the books this year and it now feels that Google has realized the value of their expert Google Analytics consultants and values the experiences we have from thousands of clients worldwide.
